Condition
In overall good condition. Cream-jug finial upper part to be correctly refixed. Marked clearly under each body. Also stamped Cardeilhac Paris except the sugar tong.

Ce modèle est très probablement dû à Lucien Bonvallet (1851-1919) qui a également dessiné d'autres modèles floraux comme les chardons, le gui etc... La chocolatière aux chardons est illustrée dans l'ouvrage de Véronique Alemany-Dessaint, Orfèvrerie française, 1988, p. 107.
