le premier, Genève, vers 1800, orné de perles, chaque côté peint de cartouche représentant des muses et des putti, ceints de bordures en taille d'épargne, l'intérieur comprenant des tablettes en ivoire, un porte-plume et un crayon, 8,8 cm, 3 ý in ; le second, fin du XIXe siècle, dans le goût du XVIIIe siècle, peint de médaillons sur un fond rose fleuri, l'intérieur comprenant des tablettes en ivoire, des ciseaux et des crayons, 8,2 cm, 3 ü in, dans un étui en cuir, apparemment non poinçonné
The first, Geneva, circa 1800, tapering and set with pearls, each side painted with shield shaped panels depicting muses below cupids within taille d'épargne borders, interior with ivory slips, gold pen and pencil, 8.8cm, 3 ý in high ; the second, late 19th century in 18th century taste, with painted medallions on a flowered pink ground, garlands and bead borders, interior with ivory slips, scissors and pencils, 8.2cm, 3 ü in high, in leather case, both apparently unmarked
