la première de forme rectangulaire mouvementée, le couvercle orné d'une plaque ovale en porcelaine peinte d'un sujet pastoral, la bordure en guirlandes et panneaux treillagées en plique à jour, poinçon de compagnie, 12,7 cm, 5 in ; avec une autre, le couvercle décoré d'émaux plique à jour bleu, vert et rouge à la manière d'un vitrail, la bâte et de le dessous émaillé de rouge sur fond guilloché, poinçon de maitre, 9,3 cm, 3 5/8 in
the first of shaped rectangular form, the lid inset with an oval porcelain plaque painted with a pastoral subject, the ground decorated in orange and green plique-à-jour enamelled garlands and trellised panels, the sides in orange guilloché, company mark, further struck: sterling, 12.7cm, 5in ; and a silver cigarette case decorated with blue, green and red plique-à-jour enamel lid in a stained glass window effect, the side and base in red over concentric engine-turning, maker's mark, further struck: sterling, 9.3cm, 3 5/8 in

Condition
1. two small scrapes on plaque at 2 o'clock and 8.30, otherwise really excellent condition apart from one tiny chip at 8 o'clock on cover.
2. plique a jour in good condition but some scratching to enamel on base.
