Catalogue Note

Very little is known about the Spanish sculptor Antoine Bofill (1875-circa 1920). He studied at the Academia des Beaux Arts in Barcelona and exhibited at the The Salon de la Societe des Artistes Francaise in 1902 for the first time. He seems to have sculpted essentially small figures and car mascots which were cast and exhibited in Austria, Germany, France and Spain.
