C.J.A. Bredius, Aerdenhout, 1972.

Condition

The actual painting is a little deeper in tone than the catalogue illustration suggests. The panel consists of 2 horizontal planks and is lightly bevelled to the reverse. The paint layer is secure and no damages are apparent. Minor retouching is visible along the joint. The paint surface is under a discoloured varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals additional tiny scattered retouchings in the sky, and a few older ones in the house. Offered unframed.
