- Profile relief of a bearded man

Condition
Overall the condition of the marble is good. There is some dirt and minor wear to the surface consistent with age with some small rust coloured staining under the nose and glue from an old label on the top left. There are some remnants of stucco or concrete along the edges of the relief. The top right corner was reattached. There are a few minor chips and scratches including some scratches on the drapery on the top of the head, a chip at the drapery on the proper right shoulder and at the top right corner on the reverse and some further small chips along the edge of the relief. The polished reverse of the relief was locally roughened for mounting.
