Painting is relined. There are tiny losses to the paint located just to the left of the Madonna's right pinky finger; another approximatley eight inches to the left of her head; and one directly above her head. The varnish has dried in areas and become somewhat streaky. This is noticeable in the red drapery of the Madonna. A few small discolored retouches are visible to the naked eye in the red drapery. Under UV a few retouches are visible through the varnish, for instance in the right side of the Madonna's face. The picture could benefit from a fresh varnish and the removal of the discolored retouches, which could be corrected with slight restoration. In a carved gilt wood frame.
