- Arcipelago de Conpasso largo. Firmato e datato in alto a destra "Vinc.us demetrei Volcius Raguseus fecit in terra Liburni die 26 Settembris 1598"
manoscritto su pergamena (840 x 585 mm), la carta nautica orientata verso Nord, le linee costiere colorate in oro, verde e rosso, i nomi delle città in oro, contorni del Peloponneso e dell'Eubea in verde, contorni di Creta in rosso, 6 rose dei venti, il tutto sormontato dall'immagine della Vergine col Bambino, sotto l'iscrizione "Salve Regina", entro cornice moderna in metallo.
Condition
Some craquelures and losses of paint are visible on the Madonna. Two holes are present above her head and another tiny one below the clouds. Some losses of paint on the red and blue decorated frame. There is no decorated frame along lower margin. Some slight discolouration at upper right hand side below the signature.
