Condition
The actual painting is a little deeper in tone.
The panel seems to consist of 2 horizontal planks, and is cradled to the reverse. No damages are apparent, but there's a very minor tendency towards flaking to the upper left. Otherwise, the paint layer appears nicely preserved with a lot of detail still intact. Some tiny scattered retouchings can be made out with the naked eye, e.g. in the trees upper left, in the path in the foreground and in the tree trunks on the right. The paint surface is under a slightly dirty varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals some minor additional scattered strengthenings and retouchings along the upper edge and along the join, but overall, this painting is in good condition.
Offered in a plain wood frame in good condition.
