The support consists of a single stable panel with a slight, old convex bow. The panel is supported on the reverse with two horizontal battens and there is an old vertical crack approx. 10 cm long visible on the reverse lower left joined by a small horizontal batten. The paint surface is secure and in good condition bar a handful of tiny scattered paint losses, just visible in the catalogue illustration. inspection under UV light reveals fine retouchings in the lines of extensive old craquelure. Offered in a gilt and stained wood frame in good condition.
