signed in black ink: JdeWit invt and bears old attribution in brown ink on the mount: De Witte
Condition
Sold in attractive carved and gilded frame, laid down on 19th Century mount. The drawing is in excellent condition. There are some tiny, occasional black ink spot stains, and a small black stain above Venus' head, but otherwise the sheet is clear and the washes fresh.
