A similar study  with some differences is in the Albertina, Vienna.  The subject of that drawing was identified by Benesch as the Trinity when it was exhibited in 1961 in Venice.1  Byam Shaw suggested That is rather Christ Received into Heaven, and he points out a similar treatment both in Giambattista's Assumption of the Virgin on the ceiling of the Pietà, Venice (1755) and in Domenico's own work, The Glory of Pope Leo IX, on the ceiling of the church of S. Lio (1783) .2
