Condition

The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is secure and in good condition with much remaining impasto. Inspection under UV light reveals extensive scattered retouchings in the sky and a more significant area of retouching far right in the horizon. Offered in a gilt wood and plaster frame in good condition.
