Condition
The canvas has been relined.
The paint surface is secure and preserves much of its original impasto under a very dirty old vanish.
Inspection under UV light reveals an area of retouching work along the lower margin, in her profile, beneath her left thigh and scattered minor work elsewhere.
Offered in a gilt wood and plaster frame in good condition.
