Condition
Portrait of Charles Elliott: Overall the pastel is in good condition. There is a repaired tear located in the sitter's cravat, measuring 5.5cm., and some minor associated retouching. There is a very small area of mould, located in the upper left hand quadrant of the sheet.
Eling Venn: This work has been well preserved.
