Condition
This miniature has been well preserved. The colours have remained fresh and bold. There is occasional dusty mould on the surface of the miniature, however this is very minor. There is a small amount of dirt on the inside of the glass, however this does not effect the surface of the miniature.

Catalogue Note
The sitter was the daughter of Sir Richard Lloyd of
Hintlesham, Suffolk. She married, firstly, Sir John Fytche-Barker, 7th Bt. (1741-1766), circa 1759. A year after his death, on 29th July 1767, she married Captain, the Hon. James Hamilton (1746-1804).
