Condition

Many of the watercolour pigments in this work have faded. This is particularly clear to see when one observes the left hand edge of the sheet, which has been protected by the mount. The paper has discoloured somewhat and there are occasional very minor foxmarks in the sky. Located in the upper left hand quadrant of the sheet is a small area of pigment loss. This sheet has been laid down.
