- Black chalk and stumping heightened with white, in a drawn oval;
signed with initial: M. del and dated: 1806;
bears modern pencil attribution on the verso twice: Menuisier
Condition
Three corners torn. At the top margin two tears and a slight water stain at the bottom. Some light scattered foxing. The drawn oval in good condition, on the left at the top very small dark stains. Some rubbing on his left sleeve and small pin point spot of white on the jacket near the initial. Image overall quite fresh.
