Still on the original album page, laid down at the bottom corners. The drawing is in very good condition. Slight foxing visible in illustrated image. Pen and ink and wash very fresh.

Catalogue Note

Part of the series of drawings from the volume 'Sole Figure Vestite'.  A large number of these are in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. None can be associated with any specific painting, but Knox suggested that they were certainly drawn no later that the Würzburg period (1751-3), and possibly earlier.
