Condition
The canvas has been relined.
The paint surface is clean, secure and in good condition, with much of the impasto of the painting well-preserved. No major damages to the work are apparent.
Inspection under UV light reveals some scattered spot retouchings to the painting which have been sensitively applied.
Offered in a gilt wood and plaster frame in good condition with a few knocks.
