  • Jan Breughel the Younger

Condition

The catalogue illustration is representative. The copper plate is a bit wobbly, especially in the upper right corner. The lower right corner has a little chip. A few tiny paint losses can be seen, eg in the sky and lower right corner. Also a few discoloured retouchings and strenghtenings can be observed in the figures and the sky. This is confirmed by UV light, which also reveals an uneven varnish layer. Offered in a decorative giltwood frame, with floral motive, tiny chips.
