Condition

Original canvas. Apart from some retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably in the hair of Mary Magdalene, and vertical strokes in the upper part of the cross and in the upper-left quadrant, a 7cm vertical tear in the cross, a 2cm tear in the background in the upper left, and scattered scratches with paint flaking, this work is in fair condition. There are two patches on the reverse of the upper left quadrant. Unframed.
