Condition

The canvas has an old relining. The paint surface appears in good, if slightly dirty, condition with the impasto well preserved. The paint surface is somewhat sunken in the darker tones of the black grapes, as confirmed by the retouchings in this area which flouresce under UV light, but otherwise in good condition. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame in good condition.
