Condition
The canvas is lined and the lining is stable. The painting is in good condition overall, the surface being well preserved in most areas. There is however some wear to the darker areas of shadow and some of the details in these areas have been strengthened such as the grapes.
Inspection under ultra violet light reveals sporadic restorations throughout and some very minor restored damages, but in general the canvas and the paint surface are well preserved.
Sold with a fine parcel gilt frame.
