Condition
The canvas is not lined. The surface of the work is in good condition. There is faint craquelure. The surface is dirty. Some scattered areas of minor pigment separation. There are three repaired tears. The first in the center right. The second in the lower right. The third and largest in the lower center. Two small patched areas lower part of the right third. Faint vertical stretcherbar marks. Lifting along lower edge. Some evidence of old retouching visable to the naked eye in Satyr and woman in blue, in the red cape and the saytr throwing the vase. Pentimenti on the back of the saytr throwing the vase. Under UV; a few scattered areas of light retouching and a few spots of broad retouching, mostly over old varnish.
