Böhm after Kininger, type-set music, printed German translation by Clodius at end, without publisher's printed wrappers, modern vellum-backed boards, engraved illustration repaired at hinge, light scattered browning; together with three nineteenth-century French manuscript vocal parts ("1.o Soprano", "Ténor Solo" and "Basse") for the 'Tuba Mirum', 'Recordare' and 'Benedictus' (this last movement in tenor part only), 10 pages, folio, no place or date

Copies of the first edition of Mozart's Requiem, one of the most famous editions in all of music, are extremely rare at auction: we have traced only one copy during the last twenty-five years. The work was not published in parts until 1812 (Vienna, Chemische Druckerei).
