Catalogue Note

Rare: we have seen no Mahler score inscribed by the composer at auction during the last two decades.  The dedicatee Camilla von Stefanovic-Vilovska was an Austrian  violinist (known as "Milla von Ott") ; Mahler had played a concert at Iglau with Camilla on 11 August 1883.
