2 volumes (vols 1 and 3 only), 4to (224 x 145mm.), architectural title borders in each volume incorporating a view of Florence, allegorical woodcut on first title verso repeated on last page of volume 3, portrait of Vasari, woodcut medallion portraits set within borders consisting of female figures of the arts, woodcut printer's devices, portrait of Girolamo Genga with printed cancel label, two portraits sketched in margins of vol.1, manuscript notes (erased) in an early hand in margins, red morocco gilt, spine gilt in compartments, edges gilt, titles shaved affecting borders, small hole in title, repair to  margin of vol.1 p.520, small hole in margins at end of vol. 1, slightly browned and soiled , rebacked, binding rubbed
