Catalogue Note

Rare. A good, crisp impression. Although this derives from the heirs of Auguste Franchomme, Chopin's friend, the wrapper is marked in pencil"Collection de M. R. Edouard André".

The bibliographers give precedence to a lithographed editions with an incorrect plate number on p.16. This issue is entirely engraved, apart from the wrappers.
