34 volumes ([6th]-26th years, but lacking a few vol.), 8vo, c.300 plates, comprising c.246 hand-coloured fashion plates and c.55 other plates (mainly plain lithographed caricatures), many folding, uniform contemporary calf-backed boards, spines gilt, lacking vols for 1847 (part 2), 1848 (pt. 1), 1849 (pt. 2), 1850 (pt. 2), 1851 (pt. 1) and 1854 (pt .1), some plates shaved, a few vol. with contemporary note of omission of an issue, no title pages, some browning



and 9 other similar volumes, with c.52 hand-coloured fashion plates (43 volumes)

La Mode ran from 1829 to 1854, with slight variations in title, and from 1854 to 1862 as La revue universelle or La mode nouvelle [Colas 2070-2072].
