Catalogue Note

Rudolf Weinwurm (1835-1911) was an Austrian choirmaster and composer and a close friend of Anton Bruckner. The hand-painted title-page reads "AlpenStimmen aus Österreich...dem Herrn Fürsten Constantin zu Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst ehrfurchtsvoll gewidmet von Rudolf Weinwürm".
