Album of 17 watercolour drawings on rice-paper, images c.150 x 250mm. (a few larger), 5 of courtly figures, the remainder of, apparently, the process of tea production from its planting, picking, processing, packing, transportation and delivery to a European warehouse, highly decorative contemporary calf binding with overall gilt rococo decoration, the upper cover with a background of painted geometrical patterns and with central panel lettered "album" on silk
Album of 12 watercolour drawings on rice paper, images c.185 x 305mm., of groups of figures (courtly, trades, etc.), fine contemporary morocco binding, elaborately gilt in rococo style, the upper cover with 9 painted panels on silk, the central one with three figures, surrounded by eight of birds and animals (tigers and lions)
Together 2 volumes, both oblong folio (c.260 x 355mm.), images within gilt embossed borders, elaborate bindings as described above, decorative endpapers, gilt edges, uniform liners and slipcases, some images cracked (as often) with minimal loss to first image in first album and to 2 blank areas in second
