Folio (455 x 340mm.), 4 manuscript divisional titles lettered in red ink, engraved armorial title coloured by hand, with a dedication to the Duke of Parma, 3 further dedication leaves, one engraved and coloured by hand, the other two in original watercolour, 40 fine hand-coloured engraved plates of birds, the text surrounded by a greek key woodcut border with yellow wash, contemporary speckled calf gilt, spine and corners worn, covers scuffed and soiled
