Folio (329 x 197mm.), Church Slavonic manuscript in the Byzantine style, 47 pages, one full-page illustration showing the author expounding, 33 smaller illustrations of scenes from the lives of Saints, including Saint Sebastian, the last showing the author at work, all coloured by hand and with flecked dull-gold grounds, antique calf over wooden boards with metal catches, a few leaves strengthened in margins, binding slightly worn, lacks clasps
