Catalogue Note
Rare: a copy of the original issue of the Mass in C has not appeared in these rooms for over twenty years. Kinsky was in error in calling for the 'Anmerkung' regarding the 'Sanctus' to be placed after the title: the copy corrected by Beethoven has this at the end, as here (Bonn, Beethoven-Haus, Sammlung H. C. Bodmer, HCB C BMd 5), and shows the other issue points mentioned above here.
