Catalogue Note
Unpublished and apparently unrecorded: This sonata has not been traced in Chappell White's bibliography, Giovanni Battista Viotti: A Thematic Catalogue of his Works (1985).
Autograph manuscripts by the violin virtuoso G.B. Viotti (1755-1824) are of the utmost rarity.
