Catalogue Note
Rare. Schlichtegroll's important obituary of Mozart, contained in the second volume of his Necrology for 1791 between pages 82 and and 112, is the first substantial biographical essay on the composer and was based largely on the testimonies of the Salzburg court trumpeter J. A. Schachtner and Mozart's sister Nannerl.
