Catalogue Note
Rare. We have not traced a copy of the exceedingly rare first edition of the parts for Mozart's great double concerto for violin and viola at auction during the last twenty years. Not only do the parts represent the first edition of the work in any form, they are, in the absence of any surviving autograph manuscript of the work, of great textual significance. Only four sets are listed by Haberkamp.
