Catalogue Note
This is the manuscript of a complete work for the piano by one of the nineteenth-century's most influential pianists. Of Moscheles's numerous pedagogical works, his studies, which Schumann viewed as bridging the age of Clementi and that of Chopin, are perhaps the most representative, and are still used today (TNG).
