Catalogue Note

Rare: scores inscribed by Mahler are seldom offered for sale at auction.  The dedicatee Camilla von Stefanovic-Vilovska was an Austrian  violinist (known as "Milla von Ott"); Mahler had played a concert at Iglau with Camilla on 11 August 1883.
