Sonate (F moll) für das Pianoforte...Op.5, Leipzig: Bartholf Senff, [1854], 39 pages, folio (32.6 x 26cms), engraved music, plate no.101 throughout, modern calf-backed boards, publisher's yellow upper wrapper (bearing imprint) laid down on cover, staining to corners [Hofmann, p.11; Hoboken 5]--Variationen für das Pianoforte über ein Thema von Robert Schumann, Frau Clara Schumann zugeeignet, Op.9, Leipzig: Breitkopf & Härtel [1854], 19 pages, folio (c.33 x 25.5cms), engraved music, plate 9001, publishers' original green wrappers (laid down), also bearing the dedication to Clara with, on the verso, the catalogue of Schumann's works, card wrappers, some musicological notes in a nineteenth-century hand, [Hofmann, p.21; Hoboken 10], slight loss to top of wrapper, light browning to some corners
