Condition

Original canvas. There are some minor isolated areas of craquelure, including in the foreground and in the upper third of the work. There are two spots of lifting paint in the upper left corner and one in the lower left corner. The surface is slightly dirty. Ultraviolet light reveals isolated scattered cosmetic flecked retouchings in all four quadrants and slightly larger areas in the upper corners, the central sky and to the centre of the tree trunk.
