Condition

The board is sound. There is some frame abrasion along the lower edge. On the right half of the lower edge there is a small loss which is painted over and is original to the board. There are a few scattered brown specks, mainly in the sky, which appear to be areas of minor discoloration. Otherwise the work is in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals pigments which fluoresce that are apparently the hand of the artist. Held in a gilt composition frame under glass; unexamined out of frame.
