Etching with drypoint and engraving, 1651, the very rare first state (of six), a very fine impression, printed with tone and fine horizontal wiping scratches, on laid paper with a Paschal Lamb watermark
Condition
With narrow margins, in good condition apart from extreme tip of lower left corner repaired, a minute foxmark above hat, a diagonal soft fold at lower left corner of sheet, some skinned areas along edges of sheet only visible verso, one possibly reinforced at centre right edge of sheet, unframed.
