"Per quanto mi riguarda personalmente, tengo a precisare che la mia non è più propriamente pittura; è, semmai, una manifestazione d'arte plastica. I tagli e i buchi? Ah sì, ecco la mia ricerca oltre il piano usuale del quadro, verso una nuova dimensione. Lo spazio. Un gesto di rottura oltre i limiti imposti dall'abitudine, dal costume, dalla tradizione, ma - sia chiaro - maturata nella onesta conoscenza della tradizione, nell'uso accademico dello scalpello, della matita, del pennello, del colore."
