Condition
The painting is in good condition, as is the wood, which is free from warps or cracks. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no indication of retouching. There is a minor scratch on the upper right edge but the layers are well-preserved and in stable condition otherwise. The colour of the actual painting is less yellow and softer in reality than in the catalogue illustration.
