Condition
The painting is in overall good condition. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some spots of retouching on the middle right, near the edge, which are visible only under ultraviolet light. A spot of media accretion is observed on the upper right edge. There are craquelures and crackling in the background and a hairline scratch on the lower middle bottom, but the paint layers are stable and the rest of the paint layers are well preserved. The colours of the actual painting are more pastel-toned in reality compared to the catalogue illustration.
