Condition
The painting is in good condition, as is the silk, which has neither runs nor holes. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no indication of retouching. Some light watermark is observed on the middle right margin. A spot of foxing is found on the lower register (white pants). Colour of the catalogue illustration is slightly too yellow compared to the actual painting.
