Description
- David Webb
- 18 karat gold, platinum, diamond, emerald, enamel, necklace, brooch
The necklace composed of geometric openwork links applied with black enamel, accented by round diamonds weighing approximately 8.10 carats, supporting a pendant-brooch centering a foliate motif set with round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 3.50 carats, accented by cabochon emeralds, framed by black enamel, length 26 inches, signed David Webb.
Condition
Diamonds are approximately G-H color and VVS-VS clarity. Emeralds in the brooch-pendant are medium green and are heavily included, many of those inclusions breaking the surface of the stones. Enamelling in good condition other than a couple of places on a link close to the back and the scalloped shaped link attaching the pendant, where the enamel loss is the most pronounced. Signed David Webb on the pendant bail. Heavy and well made.
