The necklace designed as a line of carved carnelian and blue faience scarabs framed by alternating lotus and serpent motifs, the detachable pendant surmounted by an old mine diamond weighing approximately 1.20 carats and suspending a scarab flanked by winged serpents, enhanced throughout with opaque enamel and variously-cut sapphires, emeralds and synthetic rubies, and completed by old European-cut and rose-cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.60 carats, length 16 inches; the bracelets of similar design, enhanced with translucent enamel and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.40 carats, length of bracelets 8 inches, French assay marks.  With fitted box.
